Canning & Freezing...

goodness from the garden, line a baking sheet with
parchment paper...

this one has tomatoes, hot peppers, sweet peppers, onions and garlic cloves, drizzle with olive oil...

put it in the oven...

Roast in 450* oven for about an hour...

run it all through the food processor,
freeze up in gallon size bags...
"The Chew" for the rest of the recipe...
"Scrumptious"

let them soak...

we ended up with 11 Pints...

July Quilt Block...

started sewing the bottom blocks...

three blocks sewn together...
no matter how hard I try I still have one little mistake.
Can you see it?

I also still need some help resizing a pattern, the directions were for a 12" square.
I thought I had figured it out to upsize to a 16" square...
but it's coming out a little larger.

Join A CSA...

Here's a picture of the finished closet...

We also got the doors re-installed and
did some much needed finessing
so that they both close completely now.

A note about the last green bean post.
We didn't plant a large garden this year,
but are assisting in weeding and caring for
Charles and Amanda's garden.
We are their Community Supported Agriculture.

Finally finished painting the vanity area...

Another room Done...

Why is our dresser in the living room?...

our bed is in the office...
Our clothes are in the girls bedroom...

Because we are finally getting the flooring we bought the day Megan was born down in our room!
It's only been 2 1/2 years...
First we repainted the door trim white,

cleaned the floor...

and there you have it, wood plank flooring...
It's actually floating flooring, but I love it.

First Monday @ Canton...

Friday we went to Canton Flea Market...
saw some cool duck carvings.

bought a pretty Texas Star for the gate...

I got this really cool tea kettle...
Looked it up on ebay, $45.00...
I paid $6.00

"I don't know what it is , but I must have one"...
that was the sign on the tent...
it is a hose holder...
very handy so your hoses and extension cords
don't get tangles up.
